This Cookie Policy explains how Clara & James uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit clarajames-boston.com, and what choices you have.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website work properly, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use the site.
Which cookies do we use?
- Necessary cookies make the store work: your shopping cart, the checkout and security. These cookies are always active, because the website cannot function without them.
- Preference cookies remember choices you make, such as your currency or country.
- Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it. We only place these with your consent.
- Marketing cookies are used by us and our advertising partners (such as Pinterest, Meta and Google) to show you relevant ads and measure their results. We only place these with your consent.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties that provide services to us, such as Shopify (our store platform), payment providers, email marketing and advertising platforms. These parties process data under their own privacy policies.
Your choices
When you first visit our website you can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings, or by deleting cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may cause parts of the store, such as the cart and checkout, to stop working.
How long are cookies stored?
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Other cookies are stored for a limited time, depending on their purpose, and never longer than necessary.
