Does it need to be refrigerated or plugged in?
No. Just fill it in and shake then it activates from your pet's body weight and starts cooling on its own. Just lay it flat and it's ready.
How long does the cooling last?

Open the valve - Lay the cooling mat flat. Unscrew the outer cap and remove the inner sealing plug.
Add water - Pour one bottle of mineral water into the valve. Gently shake and massage the mat so the cooling particles absorb the water evenly.
Add the remaining water- Continue adding water according to the mat’s size instructions. Reinsert the sealing plug and securely tighten the outer cap.
Activate the cooling gel- Pick up the mat and gently shake it several times to distribute the contents evenly. Allow the filling to turn into a gel before use.
